Account Analyst: Weston, WI

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer accounts to ensure accurate billing and invoicing. This position is highly visible to customers and a successful candidate will be able to build a positive relationship with assigned accounts. Problem-solving skills and clear communication, both written and verbal, are highly sought-after skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Accounting or Finance, proven experience as an Account Analyst, and strong analytical skills. Key responsibilities for this position include but, are not limited to the following:

  • Building relationships with customers and making yourself a resource for billing and invoice questions
  • Reviewing open invoices to ensure for accuracy
  • Making outbound calls and improving customer relations
  • Resolving customer billing issues and working with collectors to achieve payment
  • Applying outstanding customer service in adherence with our company culture
  • Identifying issues contributing to the delinquencies and reporting them to your manager
  • Pull reporting from company systems allowing you to analyze the priorities you need to be working on
  • Updating customer information within the company software to allow for accurate billing, document delivery, and payment efforts
  • Providing timely follow up with internal and external customers
  • Providing documentation to customers per their request including BOLs and PODs

Required experience includes:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a customer driven capacity
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven customer service skills including relationship building, dispute resolution, and tact
  • Problem solving and analytical skills are required
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changes in your environment
  • Proficient skill set with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Must have an attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Self-discipline

Ideal candidates will also possess:

  • McLeod or Bill Trust software experience
  • Working knowledge of the LTL environment
