Strategic Pricing Analyst

The Strategic Pricing Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the Pricing Analyst team by assisting with data gathering, market research, and administrative tasks. This role contributes to the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies.

Job Duties

  • Data Collection: Assist in collecting and organizing pricing data, including cost information, competitor pricing, and market trends.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to gather data on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing strategies. Summarize findings for review by Pricing Analysts.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing pricing data using spreadsheets, databases, or pricing software. Help identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for pricing optimization.

Sutton Transport, Inc. is recruiting for an experienced OS&D Admin Clerk. This position will address overage, shortage, and damage issues; research causes of claims; analyze root causes; determine resolutions; and communicate findings to management. The qualified candidate will be responsible to:

  • Scheduling Delivery Appointments
  • Review the on-time report and all delivery receipts with exceptions from the previous day
  • Identify overages, shortages and damaged freight
  • Receive and enter unloading exceptions

Terminal Manager: Weston, WI

Sutton Transport is seeking a Terminal Manager for its Weston, WI location. This management opportunity provides the right applicant unlimited career potential.

Dock Supervisor: Weston, WI

 We are recruiting for a full time Transportation Dispatcher in our St. Louis and Northlake, IL.  terminals. This position is primarily responsible for planning and coordinating the freight routing process for that day’s deliveries.

Position responsibilities:

  • Assigns pick-up and delivery orders of customer materials and ensures all deadlines and services are met.
  • Receives (by telephone and e-mail) requests for quotations, orders, and lead times from customers. Makes quotations on standard items, enters orders and relays pertinent order information to customers. Coordinates with other departments to provide service to customers.

  • May be responsible for taking calls after hours from drivers or customers.

Helpdesk Technician

The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for day-to-day desk-side and remote support for Tier 1 incidents related to Sutton Transports information systems and technology. This position will work with Systems Administrators and the IT Director to escalate incidents, as necessary.

We are currently seeking a Transportation Clerk to support our terminal office. Duties include:

· Data entry to generate freight manifests

· Scanning BOLS and Delivery Receipts for pre-invoice process

· Check-in/Out Line Haul Drivers

· Ensure ship documents have correct information, PO numbers, piece counts

· Answering phone

· Identify overages, shortages and damaged freight

· Issue notices of undelivered freight

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum two years customer service, LTL experience or one year OS&D experience preferred

We are recruiting for an experienced, knowledgeable, hard-working and customer-focused individual to join our office team as a Customer Service Representative.  We have part time and full-time positions. 

Representative is responsible for:

  • Answering all incoming phone calls.
  • Data entry of pickup orders per customer requests
  • Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
