Transportation Clerk/Admin: All Locations

We are currently seeking a Transportation Clerk to support our terminal office. Duties include:

· Data entry to generate freight manifests

· Scanning BOLS and Delivery Receipts for pre-invoice process

· Check-in/Out Line Haul Drivers

· Ensure ship documents have correct information, PO numbers, piece counts

· Answering phone

· Identify overages, shortages and damaged freight

· Issue notices of undelivered freight

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum two years customer service, LTL experience or one year OS&D experience preferred
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to approach workload in a proactive fashion
  • Able to handle fast paced environment with attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and team mentality
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to type 45 WPM
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
