Forklift Operator:
The Forklift Operator’s main responsibility is to load and unload trailers on the Dock. 95% of the time is spent on the Forklift. This is a cross-dock environment and includes working with a team of other operators.
Forklift Operation
- Load and unload trailers
- Build loads to ready multiple trailers for departure
- Ensure accurate freight inventory
- Some manual material handling as needed
Work Schedule:
- Full Time or Part Time, depending on location
- 5 day work weeks
- Full time is 40 hours, sometimes with overtime options
- Part time is 20-35 hours per week
- Schedules vary, depending on location:
- Monday – Friday
- Tuesday- Saturday
- Sunday – Thursday
- Schedules vary, depending on location:
- End time can vary according to freight volume

Qualifications:
- 1 year experience operating forklift required
- Cross-dock experience or shipping/receiving experience required
- Over 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
