Forklift Operator: Full Time and/or Part Time: All Locations

Forklift Operator:

The Forklift Operator’s main responsibility is to load and unload trailers on the Dock. 95% of the time is spent on the Forklift. This is a cross-dock environment and includes working with a team of other operators.

Forklift Operation

  • Load and unload trailers
  • Build loads to ready multiple trailers for departure
  • Ensure accurate freight inventory
  • Some manual material handling as needed

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time or Part Time, depending on location
  • Typically 2nd or 3rd shift
  • 5 day work weeks
  • Full time is 40 hours, sometimes with overtime options
  • Part time is 20-35 hours per week 
    •  Schedules vary, depending on location:
      • Monday – Friday
      • Tuesday- Saturday 
      • Sunday – Thursday 
  • End time can vary according to freight volume

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience operating forklift
  • Cross-dock experience or shipping/receiving experience preferred
  • Over 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
